"He shoots, he scores!" (Or for our French listeners: "le tire et le but!"). With the NHL playoffs just around the corner (Matt's team will not be playing this year but Shel's team will be...) we thought we'd do a bit of a sports-centresque show this week. Now before you turn away in disgust because you can't stand sports, we want to let you know that this is a sports-free episode. Instead we look at the highlights from Matt's great roundtable discussion with the future prospects of the global working world; we play another round of the ever popular "Does Matt Care?" AND we talk about being on the home team vs the away team. To top it all off we have a great interview with newcomer Felicia Empey that you do not want to miss. GO TEAM GO!

I was 33 when I walked out of my first International Missions Operations
Committee meeting when Bill Morrow (name dropper, I know) said to me,
"It's good to have a younger guy at our table, you know...someone whose
leadership is ascending." After Googling "ascending" to make sure I
hadn't just been dissed by the Gen Supe, I wondered why 33 was
considered young and why I was still ascending. By that age, many of my
risky notions or radical ideas had been deflated by the reality
of everyday life, practical planning, and common sense. In a brand new
road trip edition of the Here & There Podcast, I had the chance to
ask 12 truly young (late teens/early twenties) and ascending leaders
from Master's College & Seminary what they thought about the future
of global work. It might be time to invite a few of them to our tables.

How do you move a Fortune from Baku to Basel? On this week’s Missionary Position we don’t talk international banking trends but what it takes to pastor an international church. Whether it’s the world of Big Oil companies or Big Drug companies, David and Rhonda Fortune have been there and done that. They talk with us about what it’s like to live in two vastly different locations, how to relate to and lead people who are much, much smarter than David and also share about how important the International Church is within the world of missions. Plus we do a HnT Rapid Fire first: “Double Barrels!” and David brings the debate over yoga pants to a stunning conclusion.

I rant, therefore I am. - Dennis Miller
After a few heavier episodes, we hope you enjoy this lighter offering from your favourite Unofficial Global Worker Podcasters. It's all fun and games until someone loses their budget surplus. Look out Chad McCarthy, you might be buying Sheldon Armitage a new car!
